Fault ride-through specifications listed in modern transmission and distribution grid codes specify that photovoltaic system have to operate under grid faults. In the classic strategies used in photovoltaic systems the power delivered to the grid remains constant when a fault occurs. As a consequence, the system should operate with increasing inverter current, which may result in damage. Noticing the PV array's special characteristics,this paper presents new strategy for photovoltaic systems which ensures the current levels remaining within the designed limits. In addition,a nonlinear feedback controller based on feedback linearization is used to control the inverter. Simulation results are presented in order to validate the proposal. The results include performance of different voltage dips. The proposed control strategy permits the inverter operates in any fault situation without over currents as well as delivering sinusoidal currents. In addition, The dynamic performance of LVRT is improved by using the proposed controller. © 2011 IEEE.

According to the grid integration Technical regulation of PV power station published by electric power research institute of China, this paper proposes feedback control low voltage ride-through(LVRT) strategy of photovoltaic grid-connected inverter. Feed-forward control strategy adds variation of grid voltage and load current to current loop. It can accelerate current loop's response to interference, and avoid the affection of grid voltage. The subject of the study is photovoltaic grid-connected inverter. The results of simulation and experiment are given. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme has very good dynamic and static properties, and can inhibit the inverter over current under the grid voltage dip.

Research on three-phase inverter modulation wave based on the space rectangular coordinate system is presented in this paper, and the concept and characteristics of 3-D space modulation wave vector and new research methods is presented as well. Analytical expressions of SPWM and SVPWM can be obtained with modulation wave vector, which makes the modulation method, control strategy and the main circuit model can be analyzed and modeled in the unified form. The Judge condition for over modulation is presented as well. This new method is correct, clear, intuitive, easy to calculate, which is proved by simulation and experiment. ©, 2015, Chinese Machine Press. All right reserved.

A new detection method for three-phase voltage based on 3D-space normal vector is presented in this paper. This new method has some advantages such as quick detection, simple calculation and adaptability for unbalanced voltage. Simulation and experiment is given and the results show that the method has very good speed and accuracy for detection of unbalanced three-phase voltage. ©, 2015, Chinese Machine Press. According to the Grid Integration Technical Regulation of PV Power Station published by Electric Power Research Institute of China, feedback control low voltage ride-through(LVRT) strategy of PV grid-connected inverter was proposed. Through adding variation of grid voltage and load current to current loop, the feed-forward control strategy can accelerate current loop's response to interference, and avoid the affection of grid voltage. Choosing 100kW PV grid-connected inverter as the study subject, the simulation and experiment results were given. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme has very good dynamic and static properties, meanwhile, this scheme can inhibit the inverter over current under the grid voltage dip.
