In order to improve the index speed and the accuracy of fingerprint recognition system for the large population, a fingerprint classification algorithm based on multi-level index is proposed. Quality feature is used to classify fingerprints into three types: low quality, high quality and disability. For the high quality fingerprints, three features, according to ridge shape, macroscopic curve and singular point, are used to establish three-step index, which decreases the index space gradually. © 2011 IEEE.

PSoC3 is adopted as the controller core of the design, and resistance strain type pressure sensor is the weighing transducer. Use by the built-in analog and digital resources and a small external function module of PSoC3, designed a new type of electronic scale with touch induction buttons and slider as the main operation interface. After the whole debugging and actual testing, realized the calibration, speech broadcast, zeros, peeling, PC processing, currency conversion, calendar, temperature and humidity detection and other capabilities. With many characteristics, such as good stability, high accuracy, the function is all ready, show intuitional and simple operation, etc. Can be used for the occasion which needs some high precision weighing, such as civil and industrial. © 2013 IFSA.

Clay minerals are the main ingredients of the ocean floor sediments, which completely record a lot of geological information and have important meanings in the studies of source material, sedimentary environment, global climate change, sea-level fluctuation and ocean currents evolution. This paper studies composition and combination distribution characteristics of 312 surface clay mineral samples and makes the mineral mapping in Beibu gulf. The results show that the components of clay minerals in Beibu gulf are mainly mixed layer of illite and montmorillonite, kaolinite, chlorite and illite and each average content are 49.95%, 24.69%, 14.07% and 11.28%, respectively. According to combination and content of the clay minerals, the distribution areas of clay minerals in Beibu gulf can be divided into four divisions of 1, 2, 3 and 4 divisions. The differences of 4 divisions are closely related with the source area parent rocks and circulation. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In order to illustrate the mechanism of supporting, maintain the safety and keep the stable of underground projects, it is of great significance to study the transverse effect of bolted discontinuous rock mass. With a 3D model and corresponding physical simulation, analyzing the testing results of the bolt stress, rock stress and displacement discovers some new findings. Besides its reinforcing effect to the rock mass, the bolt has a negative effect on the discontinuous rock mass by its so-called 'railway effect' under shear loading. The finding of this bolt function will help to further understand of bolting mechanism and it is very important to raise the safety of bolt supporting design. Furthermore the effect grade is a positive correlativity with the bolt diameter, and the shear displacement is one of its necessary conditions. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Analysis of real communication network's information transmits performance especially in WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) has always been the research hotpots of network communication efficiency. In this article, we adopt four different node fault generation policies to network dataset including real communication networks and simulated networks too. Experiments focus on the relationship between fault nodes and network structure indications. We found that betweenness based strategy is more harmful to network structure. After modifying traditional WSN relay station select algorithm, the self-adaptive relay station selection algorithm in cooperative communication based on node's betweenness is proposed in this paper to promote information transmit efficiency in WSN in the time of information transmit and decrease transmit time. © 2011 IEEE.

In the hinterland of the Junggar Basin, there are multiple depressions with multiple sets of source rocks. Therefore, the conditions of hydrocarbon sources are complex, and the geochemical characteristics and sources of hydrocarbon vary in different structural belts. The evolution of the Che-Mo palaeohigh affected the formation of hydrocarbon source kitchens and hydrocarbon migration. We studied the combination and superimposition of hydrocarbon source kitchens, using as an example the hinterland of the Junggar Basin (including the Yongjin, Zhengshacun, Moxizhuang and Luliang uplift areas). The study was based on geochemical analyses of crude oil and fluid inclusions, and the histories of tectonic evolution and hydrocarbon generation. The results indicated that before the Paleogene there were two hydrocarbon-generating depressions: the Western Well Pen1 depression and the Changji depression on the south and north sides of the Che-Mo palaeohigh, respectively. The Permian source kitchen had been generating hydrocarbon continuously since Triassic and reached high maturity stage in the Cretaceous period. After Paleogene, the adjustment of the Che-Mo palaeohigh led to the subsidence of the Changji depression and the Jurassic source rocks reached mature stage and became the main source kitchens. However, the Jurassic source rocks in the Western Well Pen1 depression were still in a low maturity stage and did not generate oil because of the adjustment of tectonic movements. As a result, in the central and southern parts of the Junggar Basin, Jurassic source rocks generated oil, but in the Luliang uplift, the crude oil was from the Permian source rocks in the Western Well Pen1 depression and the Jurassic source rocks did not contribute. The crude oil in the central Zhengshacun-Moxizhuang belt was from the Permian source rocks in two depressions, and partially from the Jurassic source rocks. The crude oil in the Luliang uplift was from the source rocks of the lower Permian Fengcheng Formation and middle Permian Wuerhe Formation, which is characterized by superimposition of two sets of source kitchens and three accumulation stages. The crude oil in the Yongjin tectonic belt was from the lower Permian, middle Permian and Jurassic source rocks, which is characterized by superimposition of three sets of source kitchens and two accumulation stages. The crude oil in the Zhengshacun tectonic belt was from a combination of source kitchens of lower Permian and middle Permian in the Western Well Pen1 depression in the early stage and from the superimposition of Jurassic source rocks in the Changji depression in the late stage. © China University of Petroleum (Beijing) and Springer Berlin Heidelberg 2010.

The effect of substrate conditions, including material type, thickness and radius on thermal shocking properties of plasma sprayed Sm 2Zr 2O 7/NiCoCrAlY functional graded thermal barrier coatings were analyzed by ANSYS-a finite element method software. Results show that thermal stresses in coatings increase with increasing of thermal expansion coefficients of substrates. The effect of substrate thickness can be ignored when it is greater than 20mm. Thermal stresses increase with radius increasing, however, they were almost not effected when substrate radius is over 18mm. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Digital watermarking used in image forensics has been extensively studied. First, we concluded the research level at home and abroad, including the comparison between the active and passive image forensics, the application of robust and fragile watermarking algorithms in image forensics. Then we proposed three key issues which are unsolved in the application of digital watermark in image forensics.
