The saponifier was prepared by reusing the saponification wastewater from light rare earths extraction separation. The saponification wastewater was reused according to sodium chloride concentration and different trace rare earth ions in it and the requirement purity of light rare earth elements extraction separation. The results show that the discharge quantity of the wastewater was decreased and fresh water was saved and the concentration of sodium chloride in th wastewater was increased by resuing saponification wastewater. And the energy consumption was reduced in the concentration and crystallization of recycing sodium chloride, and the yield of rare earths was improved, and the consumption of organic was reduced. ©, 2015, Editorial Office of Chinese Rare Earths. 3.0Si-0.8Al-0.0062Ce non-oriented silicon steel were produced by the CSP process. The structure, texture and inclusion in the hot rolled sheet were analyzed in detail. The results showed that the structure in the hot rolled strip was recrystallized microstructure at edge and fibrous structure with a few recrystallized microstructure in the central. The main texture in the surface layer was {110) <115> and (113) <332>, and in the center layer was wake {111} texture and strong rotate cube. Crystal structures of tetragonal YSZ, Nb2O5-doped YSZ (NbYSZ), Ta2O5-doped YSZ (TaYSZ) are optimized based on plane wave method and generalized gradient approximation theory to obtain the most stable structures. The elastic constants are calculated by using Hooke's law from stable cells. And then numerical estimates of bulk modulus, shear modulus, Young's modulus, sound velocity, Debye temperature and minimum thermal conductivity are performed with the calculated elastic constants. The results show that both Nb2O5 and Ta2O5 dopants can decrease Young's modulus and minimum thermal conductivity of tetragonal YSZ. Theoretical investigations proved that Nb2O5 and Ta2O5 are good dopants and Ta2O5 has better effects than that of Nb2O5 in thermal barrier coating region. ©, 2014, Editorial Office of Chinese Rare Earths. Ammonium bicarbonate was used as precipitant to produce high total rare earth cerium carbonate. The result of chemical analysis indicated that the content of rare earth oxide was 70.90%, the content of chlorine ion was 0.0030%, and that of other elements met the demand of client. The results of scanning electron microscope and particle size analysis indicated that the product was spherical particles with uniform size. The composition was confirmed to be cerium carbonate hydroxide by chemical analysis, TG-DSC and x-ray diffraction analysis.
