This series of articles discusses more recent developments in GarmentVrocessing Macbinery. Twenty eight papers on this subject were already published in our new series in Colourage[1,13-38]. Inthejune'14 Colourage's twenty first paper on garment processing machinery we have presented Part-1 of Garment Dryers/"Laundry Dryers coming under Laundry Care Machines. [32], In the nextfour months'papers on this subject we continued this subject with Part-2, Part-3, Part-4 and Part-5 of Garment Dryers/Laundry Dryers machines of selected world's leading manufacturers[33-36]. In next month's installment, on machinery we moved on to the next item under Laundry Care machines. Viz., Ironers for pressing garments. In Part-1 of this subject we covered Iron and its types, names & features followed by Ironing/Pressing machines winding by describingpresent-day selected manufacturers of these machines[3 7]. Parts-2-5 of this subject, published in the next four months [38,39,40 & 41], brought out the world's leading manufacturers of ironing/pressing machines. This subject is continued in this month's article with 7 more manufacturers and their 13 models.

Textile processing machinery manufacturs have launched various models of brushing/brush-sueding machines-III. Santabrush of SperottoRimar, Italy, offers various features such as tension-controlled fabric guidance and minimum changes in fabric width during treatment. Sucker-Müller-Hacoba, Germany, manufactures Pol-Therma PT-2 and PT- 4. The overhead cloth-guide system in the machine facilitates running of both grey cloth and dyed cloth under mill conditions. A cooling roll at cloth outlet cools the cloth before folding without creases as these, once formed, are difficult to be removed later. STC Universal Wet Brushing Machine of TMT Manenti, Italy, offers features such as complete stainless steel construction, modular design, direct brush approach to the fabric, inlet group with operator footboard, automatic fabric centering, and adjustable stretcher. Optisystem XB Brush sueding machine of Xetma Vollenweider, Germany, has special fabric lifting devices to control wrapping angle, offers free choice of working direction of brush rollers, and allows free choice of drum rotation speed and direction.

Textile processing machinery manufacturers have launched various brush-sueding machines-I. AMHB2O4 Heater (Cylinder) Brushing Machine of A-Sung Machinery, Korea, gives various changes on the surface of fabrics mainly the piled ones through brushing process with heat treatment on the back of original fabric. Brush-tec of m-tec, Germany, is used for wovens or knitted goods, flat or with pile, of cotton, polyester, acrylic, wool/polyester and many other fabrics. Brushing Machine of B-Tex, India, is designed to clean the fabric during its process by taking dust and working impurities away. Air Brush Compact of Caru, Italy, is a small and efficient cleaning machine easily applicable to any machine when one or more traditional brushes do not dean the fabric effectively. Turbo Brush Sueding Machine of Caru, Italy, consists of a big diameter abrasive brush which, rotating at a variable speed, lets to obtain excellent sueding results both on woven and knitted fabrics.
