Provided is an electrical junction box having a novel structure capable of preventing vehicle fire after the infiltration of water without depending on a waterproofing structure of the electrical junction box. An electrical junction box (10) includes a bus bar circuit unit (12) obtained by arranging a plurality of bus bars (28a to 28g) including a power source-side bus bar (28c) to be connected to a power source line and a ground-side bus bar (28d) to be connected to a ground line on insulated boards (26a, 26b). In the electrical junction box (10), the power source-side bus bar (28c) and the ground-side bus bar (28d) are arranged adjacent to each other, and an oxide deposition inhibiting structure (42) is provided in exposed portions (44a to 44c) of the insulated board (26a) exposed through a gap between the power source-side bus bar (28c) and the ground-side bus bar (28d).

Provided is an overcurrent protection circuit that can cope even with a case where a ground fault occurs in a mask time period for overcurrent detection. The overcurrent protection circuit detects, when a switching element 7 is on, a differential voltage value between both ends of the switching element 7 that is caused by an electric current flowing therethrough, and turns off the switching element 7 when the detected differential voltage value is larger than a predetermined voltage value. A detection circuit 14 that detects respective voltage values at both ends of the switching element 7, and means 14 for preventing the switching element 7 from being turned on if either of the respective voltage values detected by the detection circuit 14 is less than a predetermined value.

The connector housing 40 includes a catch portion 48 that catches the circuit board 35 in a state where the connector housing 40 is fastened with the screw 60 to the base member 15.
