Specific features of diffusional mass transfer in ternary gas mixtures and their relation to the concentration of the densest component in a mixture are studied experimentally under isothermic conditions. At certain compositions of the gas mixture, unique diffusion regimes develop in the system that are characterized by a considerable rate of mass transfer and are attributed to the presence of concentration convection. We show that transitions from the diffusional and convective regimes can be predicted using the stability theory extended to isothermal mixing in ternary gas systems. Theoretical predictions are compared to experimental data. © 2017, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

The authors considered the rational reasons of effective measures for prevention and liquidation of catastrophic of emission of oil and gas in case of production of oil and gas in the Kazakhstani sector of the Caspian Sea. The comparative analysis with the accident on the Gulf of Mexico (USA) is carried out. Scientific substantiation of effective measures to prevent and to eliminate oil and gas emissions catastrophe on the Kazakhstani sector of the Caspian Sea is carried out. Currently, Kazakhstan produces 1.6 million barrels a day, which allows us to be among the world's top twenty oil producers. In the next 15 years we plan to double these figures-we have a new field in Tenghiz, Kashagan. The USA’s companies such as ExxonMobil, Chevron want to continue to invest in this area. © National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2017.

The structure of perhydroacenaphthene (I) and its conversion products 1,3-dimethyladamantane (II), trans-1,4-dimethyladamantane (III), cis-1,4-dimethyladamantane (IV), 1,2-dimethyladamantane (V), 1-ethyladamantane (VI), and 2-ethyladamantane (VII) of the general formula C12H 20 has been studied using the Becke-Lee-Yang-Parr (B3LYP) hybrid method for the energy functional of the electron density with the 6-31G*basis set. Geometric and electronic characteristics of the compounds and their total energy, trans-formation energies, transformation entropies, and normal vibration frequencies have been calculated. The equilibrium constants determined for the isomerization of perhydroacenaphthene into products II-VII are consistent with experimental data. © 2014 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

The structure of perhydrofluorene and its isomerization products 1,3,5-trimethyladamantane, 1,3,6-trimethyladamantane, cis-1,3,4-trimethyladamantane, trans-1,3,4-trimethyladamantane, 1-ethyl-3-methyladamantane, cis-1-ethyl-4-methyladamantane, trans-1-ethyl-4-methyladamantane, 1,2,6-trimethyladamantane, and 1,2,8-trimethyladamantane of the general formula C13H22 has been studied using the Becke - Lee - Yang - Parr (B3LYP) hybrid energy functional of electron density with the 6-31G∗basis set. The geometric and electronic characteristics of the compounds and their total energy, transformation energies, entropies of transformations, and normal vibration frequencies have been calculated. It has been shown that the calculated Gibb free energies of formation for the perhydrofluorene isomerization products are in qualitative agreement with the experimental product composition of the isomerate. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd., 2016.

Mathematical equations for the multi-criteria task of the optimisation of chemical engineering systems, for example for the optimisation of working regimes for industrial installations for benzene production, have been formulated and developed, and based on fuzzy mathematical methods, algorithms for their solution have been developed. Since the chemical engineering system, which is being researched, is characterised by multiple criteria and often functions in conditions of uncertainty, the presenting problem is formulated in the form of multicriteria equations for fuzzy mathematical programming. New mathematical formulations for the problems being solved in a fuzzy environment and heuristic algorithms for their solution have been developed by the modification of various optimisation principles based on fuzzy mathematical methods. © 2015, Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors. The idea of the Wintner method relate to the problem of existence in the Newtonian many body problem of homographical solutions, similar to conic sections. The Mg(CH3CH2COO)2-H3BO 3-H2O section of the MgO-B2O3-C 6H10O3-H2O quaternary system was studied at 50 and 60 °C using the isothermal solubility method and measurements of the density, pH, and refractive index of saturated solutions. A chemical reaction with the formation of MgB4O7· 7H2O and MgB6O10·8H2O was established to proceed in the system. The identity of precipitated solid phases was confirmed by chemical analysis, derivatography, and IR spectroscopy. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

Work idea during the analysis of main processes of riftogenesis was multi -stage tectonics of plates as more imposing and universal. Main destructive force of crust the convective streams in upper mantle have been considered in the model of groove development. Such model satisfactory conforms with Morgan s plumes theory and Relay-Benard convection theory. According to complex of geological, fluid - dynamical and themobaric characteristic the mentioned rifts are conceptions of Kazakhstan scientists about nidal theory of hydrocarbon formation within pre-Caspian oil-and -gas province. Oil-gas and geological zoning, which is forming the scientific base of the area, oil gas bearing capacity prediction had been completed on the basis of a new theoretic base of continental riftogenesis conception and center theory of oil-gas formation. Space connection of gas and oil accumulation areas with high resource density with regional oil and gas generation sources has been found. It is the scientific basis for prediction of large hydrocarbon accumulations. Law of placing huge oil and gas deposits in reftogen sedimentary basins had been installed.
