The present invention allows for natural movement of the foot portion, prevents excessive pronation, and relieves burden onto the body. The invention provides a shoe sole which has a landing surface composed of three regions of a middle-sole region, a fore-sole region and a rear-sole region, and has a plurality of groove portions in the landing surface. The groove portions include: a first groove portion located in the fore-sole region, on a first imaginary line extending along the MP joint; a second groove portion located in the fore-sole region, on a second imaginary line extending along a line which connects a medial outer edge of the fore-sole region and a lateral outer edge of the middle-sole region with each other, in an area which is closer to a toe than to the first groove portion; and a third groove portion located in the rear-sole region, on a third imaginary line extending along a line which connects a medial outer edge of the rear-sole region and a lateral outer edge of the middle-sole region with each other.


There is provided a shoe-forming member comprising a rubber composition containing a styrene-butadiene rubber, a butadiene rubber, silica, a silane coupling agent, and a crosslinking agent, the rubber composition being crosslinked, wherein the rubber composition contains specific materials as the silane coupling agent and the crosslinking agent, and the butadiene rubber and the styrene-butadiene rubber are contained in the rubber composition in predetermined proportions.

The present invention addresses a problem to develop a novel shock absorbing structure which exhibits high shock absorbing performance peculiar to a soft material and a repulsion characteristic compatibly while exposing a most of an outer periphery of the soft material to outside when the shock absorbing structure is incorporated into a sole of a shoe, for example, and a shoe to which the shock absorbing structure is applied. [Solution] A shock absorbing structure of the present invention is formed by including a column member, a ring member that is provided by being fitted onto the column member and has elasticity, a first pressure receiving portion that is connected to an upper end of the column member, and a second pressure receiving portion that is connected to a lower end of the column member, wherein the column member tilts with respect to at least one of the first and second pressure receiving portions with pressure reception, and is restored with decompression, and the ring member is caused to undergo bulging deformation to an outer circumferential side direction from an inner circumferential side by tilting of the column member.

At least in a partial area of each of a forefoot portion and a rear foot portion on a medial side of a foot, the plurality of ridges and the longitudinal groove extend in a longitudinal direction or a diagonal longitudinal direction and are set so that an angle of the ridges and that of the longitudinal groove with respect to a long axis of the outsole are in a range of 0 to 35. A ratio of a length of the tread surface of the ridges with respect to a width of the tread surface is set to be 1.8 to 200. The width of the tread surface of the ridges is set to be greater than a width of the longitudinal groove by a factor of 2 to 100.
