There is large fires risk and difficult evacuation in underground buildings, so it is necessary to study the development of fire and evacuation procedure in underground building. In this paper, a large underground banquet hall was chosen as an example, evacuation safety in the hall was analyzed by numerical simulation. First of all, fire model and two fire scenes were set up by using the software Fire Dynamics Simulator. Then the process of fire spread was reappeared by numerical simulation, and evacuation process was simulated by using the software PathFinderTM. By comparison with both result, it was proved that there is safe personnel evacuation in the case of effective fire-fighting facilities. According to the simulation results, reasonable recommendations about fire safety of the large banquet hall was proposed. The research will contribute to fire prevention and architecture design. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

This paper points out the defect of wired automatic fire alarm system in used, and the necessity and possibility of constructing wireless fire alarm system. ZigBee technology based on IEEE802.15.4 and its characteristics are introduced. In this paper, fluoroalkylsilane (F 3C-(CF 2) 5-(CH 2) 2-Si(OC 2H 5) 3, F-8261)was successfully used as surface modifier to prepare oleophobic hollow microspheres. Three-phase foam was directly fabricated by oleophobic hollow microspheres. The result shows that outstanding improvement in the stability and anti-burning properties of three-phase foam on oil were achieved through the oleophobic modification. The optimum reaction conditions were 12% of fire fighting protein, the addition of 50% of hollow microsphere and0.5% F-8261. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Ethyl acetate was synthesized using inorganic salt as catalyst. The catalytic syntheses of Ethyl Acetate using NaHS04, Sncl2 and Fecl3 as catalysts were introduced. It showed that Sncl 2 was excellent catalysts for synthesis Ethyl Acetate with higher yields and the catalyst can be reused, and the reaction does not cause pollution. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

A genetic algorithm-based BP neural network method is constructed to predict the lower flammability limit temperature(LFLT) of organic compounds. The parameters in the model are molecular descriptors of Mv, CID, EEig02d, GGI1, nROH, nHDon. They are selected from 1664 molecular-based parameters obtained from Dragon software. For 1171 organic compounds used in this work, the average relative error and the average absolute error of this model are 3.23% and 10.28 K respectively. The correlation coefficient is 0.9833. The results are better than those obtained by genetic algorithm multiple linear regression(GA-MLR) analysis. The present model can be used to reveal the quantitative relation between LFLT and molecular structures of organic compounds and predict the LFLT of a wide range of organic compounds. © All Rights Reserved.

Except the public mobile communication system, t he trunking communication systems have become a special essential communications system. Because the distinguishing feature of one-button intercom, emergency call and multi-group scheduling and dispatching emergency functions, the trunking communication system can be used widely in the fire commanding communication. This paper introduces briefly the definition, classification and composition of trunking communication and put forward the frequency, work modes, networking modes of the fire trunking communication system. In order to improve information transmission rate in unit bandwidth, using direct-sequence spread-spectrum CDMA thinking, creatively present a new multi-path direct sequence spread spectrum wireless communication systems' model, and give its multi-path interference performance based on MATLAB. Simulation results show that the system can increase the information transmission rate in unit bandwidth through enhancing the length of the spreading code and the SNR. ©201O IEEE.
