Under description is the large-scale technology-and-equipment system for two-stage treatment of open pit mine process and surface water before its discharge in a natural fishery water body. The wastewater purification standard is reached owing to combination of mechanical and chemical treatment. The mine wastewater treatment system capacity is over 3.2 thsd m3 /h.

The article describes the structure and tectonics of the Grib Diamond Deposit. The authors give details of the country rocks and overlying formations, and structural features of kimberlite pipes. Petrography of rocks in the crater and vent, and mineral and petrochemical composition of Grib kimberlites are characterized and compared with the Lomonosov Deposit kimberlites nearby. The article describes the accepted flow chart, basic equipment and production data of an abuilding processing plant intended for treatment of diamond ore extracted from Grib diamond deposit. The project and working documentation for the processing plant construction and tailings storage management are developed by Mekhanobr Engineering JSC. The annual design capacity of the abuilding processing plant is 5.5 Mt of ore with humidity of 5%, or 4.275 mln t of dry ore.
