In this study properties of concrete contain natural and recycled fresh concrete waste aggregates (RFCWA) were investigated. RFCWA was obtained from Ready Mix Concrete plants. Natural coarse aggregate in concrete was replaced by RFCWA. The replacement proportions were 0%, 15%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%. Mechanical properties such as compressive strength, flexural strength and split tensile strength were determined for hardened concrete and for fresh concrete workability was determined. Rinsed Air Dried (RAD) method is used to improve the quality of RFCWA. The test result shown that concrete contain 15% RFCWA is optimum for producing normal strength recycled aggregate concrete. © Research India Publications.

Water is an important component to human life. The major aims of the present work are to assess the quality of the ground water and its impact in Villupuram District of Tamilnadu. The present study focus to bring an awareness among the people about the quality of ground water by taking water samples from various locations for Physico – Chemical analysis of the ground water. This analysis result was compared with the WHO, ICMR, USPH and European standards of drinking water quality parameters with the following water quality parameters namely pH, Electrical conductivity, Cl, Na, K, Ca, Mg, Total dissolved solids, Total hardness, Dissolved oxygen, Fluoride etc. Various chemical methods have been employed to investigate the extent level of pollution in ground water. © 2016 Elsevier Inc.

Information retrieval system plays a vital role in extraction of relevant information. Many researchers have been working on for satisfying user needs, tough the problem arises when accessing multiple languages‟ information. This Multilingual environment provides a platform where a query can be formed in one language and the result can be in the same language and/or different languages. This Methodology is suitable for analyzing the multilingual web services. Performance evaluation of Information Retrieval for monolingual environments especially for English are developed and standardized from its inception. There is no standardized evaluation model available for evaluating the performance of multilingual environments or systems. The unavailability of MLIR domain specific standards is a challenging task. This paper proposes a MLIR specific performance evaluation standard using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), which can facilitate the researchers and developers to improve the quality of the MLIR systems in the present and future scenarios. © Research India Publications.

Speed Estimation without speed sensors is a complex phenomenon and is overly dependent on the machine parameters. It is all the more significant during low speed or near zero speed operation. There are several approaches to speed estimation of an induction motor. Eventually, they can be classified into two types, namely, estimation based on the machine model and estimation based on magnetic saliency and air gap space harmonics. This paper analyses the effect of incorrect setting of parameters like the stator resistance, rotor time constant, load torque variations and also Voltage unbalance on various adaptive control based speed estimation techniques fed from the machine model. It also shows how the convergence mechanisms of the adaptation schemes are affected during these conditions. The equivalent models are built and simulated offline using MATLAB/SIMULINK blocksets and the results are analysed. © 2015 Institute of Advanced Engineering and Science. All rights reserved.

Cloud computing is the fastest growing, popular and most widely used technology in the current web. Interoperability is one of the major issues found in cloud environments where it is not an easy go for the cloud consumers to have a direct interaction with the cloud providers in order to request for a service. The semantic web technology is the most powerful growing technology to the current web which allows adding semantic metadata to the cloud services. Addition of Semantic web technologies to the cloud platforms provides scalable and efficient results to the consumers. This paper presents a semantic interoperability model which provides an improved interaction between the cloud Platform as a service provider and the cloud consumers. The semantic interoperability layer that sits between the cloud provider and the user does the semantic description generation of the service which helps in discovering the service and invoking the service with respect to the user’s request. This proposed method is done with the cloud service called Google app engine which is Platform as a service provided by Google and the semantic web technology tool used is JRDF, a framework for RDF and SPARQL Query language. © 2015 Praise Worthy Prize S.r.l. - All rights reserved.

In today's world web services are the known perception to all the users who uses the internet. The Web Service process involves service discovery, selection and ranking. Discovery is the process of matchmaking of user query with advertisements in the repository. Our motivation is to develop a model for web service discovery with the combined approach of service selection and ranking. In this paper, we have proposed a technique for web service discovery process, combining the keyword search and semantic search and ranking the services. The implementation results show that the proposed model performs better for the web service discovery process. © 2015 The Authors.

Wireless Sensor Network generally deployed in natural environment, so large number of security is emits are there. Protect the data in WSN require approaches that will make data transmission more secure from the attackers. Data transmission can be performed based on cluster using imperialist competitive algorithm. It can partition the cluster in to sub-clusters and compete with each other until one of these cluster nodes is preferred. For efficient data transmission to exploit key selection from elliptic curve as an Aeolian group with point as fundamentals,ECAES algorithm is used. To pass up fake identities in packet can be transferred, the dissimilar approach called fake agent attackers is used which prevent the traffics and fake distinctiveness of nodes located at communication range around target area. Energy efficiency can be improved by using Adequate energy which select the most appropriate neighbor node with position closeness and substitute node is not only required to be close to the faulty node to ensure the correctness of sensing, but also have higher residual energy to guarantee further constancy. So the efficient utilization of algorithm is used to reduce dropping ratio and minimize overhead © Research India Publications.

The reliability of sensor networks is generally dependent on the battery power of the sensor nodes that it employs; hence it is crucial for the sensor nodes to efficiently use their battery resources. This research paper presents a method to increase the reliability of sensor nodes by constructing a connected dominating tree (CDT), which is a subnetwork of wireless sensor networks. It detects the minimum number of dominatees, dominators, forwarder sensor nodes, and aggregates, as well as transmitting data to the sink. A new medium access control (MAC) protocol, called Homogenous Quorum-Based Medium Access Control (HQMAC), is also introduced, which is an adaptive, homogenous, asynchronous quorum-based MAC protocol. In this protocol, certain sensor nodes belonging to a network will be allowed to tune their wakeup and sleep intervals, based on their own traffic load. A new quorum system, named BiQuorum, is used by HQMAC to provide a low duty cycle, low network sensibility, and a high number of rendezvous points when compared with other quorum systems such as grid and dygrid. Both the theoretical results and the simulation results proved that the proposed HQMAC (when applied to a CDT) facilitates low transmission latency, high delivery ratio, and low energy consumption, thus extending the lifetime of the network it serves. © 2015 ETRI.

This paper investigates an optimization procedure for the design of a permanent magnet synchronous generator using a particle swarm optimization (PSO) and Harmony search (HS). The PSO is proposed to minimize the cost reduction and to maximize the efficiency of the constraints level. The proposed procedure has two stages for motor design. In the first stage, the stator parameters are optimized while in the second stage, the field and maximum flux density are designed. The proposed algorithm is efficiently compared with the practical experience-based method. The proposed procedure is efficiently design the PMSG based on the 4- pole proto-type synchronous machine which is produced at 27 military production factories. The proposed procedure leads to more economical motor compared to the practical experience based method. Also, the proposed procedure maximizes the SG developed apparent power and reduces the field windings in terms of their conductors' diameters and number of conductor per slot. © Research India Publications.
