The permeability and permeability coefficient from water pressure test in boreholes are limited to the semi-infinite domain of rock. The cut-off wall is a strip domain, so it is clearly inappropriate to calculate the flow parameters using the equation for semi-infinite domain. The method of complex variable was used to transform the strip flow domain into the semi-infinite domain and permeability coefficient for strip domain was thus derived. The ratio Q'/Q of flux and k'/k of permeability coefficient for the semi-infinite and strip domains were analyzed. The influence of cut-off wall and drilling geometry L/r0 and r0 was discussed. When L/r0<104.7, r0<75 mm, k'=k or Q'=Q, the flux Q' and the water permeability q' in strip domain were greater than ones in the semi-infinite domain, namely Q'>Q, q'>q, and the permeability coefficient k'

This paper research applied to using energy-saving insulation in hot summer and warm winter area of sandwich wall panels, study on thermal insulation thermal insulation property of composite wall panel through 2 sets of thermal performance test, and the test results for comparative analysis with finite element analysis results. The analysis shows that the wallboard is not only good insulation properties, but also to meet the requirements prescribed by the state building energy-saving insulation and hot summer Cold Winter areas of building energy-saving insulation requirements. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Non-sand concrete well pipe is widely used in dewatering construction of deep foundation pit, the running effect of water-filtration well pipe have a close relationship with casting-pipe porosity, material ratio and casting-pipe time. With a long term test, the indicators' critical values of casting-pipe based on maximum porosity is proposed, which is under a condition of ensuring the adequate strength of non-sand pipe and different proportion of limestone cement and stones. The critical values have a great significance to improving non-sand pipe effective porosity, reducing permeation resistance and increasing infiltration capacity, and also can provide a reference for the design and constriction of similar projects. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

This article analyzed the design idea and implementation method for the structure of the automatic ballot box. It constructed the model of parts and assembly design of the ballot box based on the powerful feature modeling function of SolidWorks and finally worked out the finite element analysis on key parts. It thus successfully developed the automatic ballot box. A scanning unbalanced Michelson interferometer is used to act as a demodulator in fiber Bragg grating sensor system. Additional phase-shift, caused by thermal noise, is demonstrated to occur in the output of the interferometer theoretically and experimentally, when a piezoelectric ceramic (PZT) is acted as the driving element of the interferometer. To eliminate the thermal noise, a new method by separating the driving element from the interference device is introduced. Comparing with the conventional with/without temperature controlling interferomtric demodulation scheme, thermal noise is demonstrated to be disappeared experimentally in the new scheme, and there is also no thermal inertia needed to be overcome. The predicted resolution of the system is 5.5 nε, and the experimental sensitivity is 0.9609°/με.

In regard to the non-equilibrium distribution of water resources quantity, the water resources Gini coefficient is introduced, and the Gini coefficient calculation methods, which include the trapezoidal area method and the function fitting method, are discussed. A water resources non-equilibrium evaluation model was established to evaluate the non-equilibrium extent and evolvement rules of water resources exploitation. Based on this, a non-equilibrium harmonious development mode of water resources and socio-economy is put forward. The proposed model was applied to the evaluation of the non-equilibrium distribution of water resources in Jiangsu Province, and an appropriate non-equilibrium harmonious development mode of water resources was obtained.

Factors affected the rock mass shear strength parameters are complex with uncertainties. A comprehensive model with multiple index is established combined with quantitative and qualitative indicators. It can effectively determine the shear strength of rock. The multivariate nonlinear statistical method is introduced to study the rock mass shear strength parameters. Twelve qualitative and quantitative indicators are selected, based on the large number of projects through the collection of data, nonlinear explicit equations of cohesion, and friction angle for rock mass shear strength are established; their determining coefficients are 0.992729, 0.999998, respectively. This model not only considers quantitative factors, but also considers qualitative factors. It is verified by field data. Results show that the models have high accuracy. It is easy to solve the rock mass shear strength parameters with high practical value, and it has high practical value for projects.

In network RTK the model's extrapolation accuracy of spatial error is directly related to RTK position validity and reliability. So the extrapolation accuracy of coordinate linear interpolation model and distance linear interpolation model are studied in this paper. Firstly, according to the root mean square of interpolation coefficient of model and the law of errors propagation, two models' stability and the factors which affected the extrapolation accuracy are analyzed from the relationship of the model's linear function. Secondly, in different areas out of net the change regularity of extrapolation error is further discussed with types of data in different length baselines. The result shows that extrapolation accuracy of the above model are related to the net shape of network RTK, the estimation precision of the comprehensive error that exists between reference stations, and the distance that rover is away from the net. The extrapolation accuracy of the coordinate linear interpolation model is better than the distance linear interpolation model. In the areas that not more than 40km to the net external it can be reached within 5cm estimation accuracy of the extrapolation comprehensive error. It is helpful to rapid high-precision position out of the network. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Soilbags have been understood to be cheap and easy to acquire as well as vibration reduction. However, the research on the effect of soilbag vibration reduction is only based on test results at present; the mechanism of it has rarely been studied. Based on the principle of soilbag energy dissipation, the discrete element method is used to build energy dissipation equation during the process of soilbag vibration reduction. Firstly, using the discrete element method to establish every part of soilbag energy dissipation equations, through numerical simulation of a single soilbag under simple vertical loading condition, from energy conservation perspective to verify that the calculation of each part of the energy is reasonable; meanwhile, the correctness of the established equations of energy dissipation is proved; and then energy dissipation of a single soilbag is simulated from quantitative perspective by using the verified energy dissipation equation under the cyclic loading rate of 1 000 N/s three times. The numerical simulation results show that the percentage of total soilbag and its inside particles energy consumption exhibit obvious wavy shaped fluctuating with loading and unloading; the percentage of it is over 75% of the total energy; this means soilbag can play a good effect on energy dissipation.
