The cutting knife has a base member with first and second faces. One face has a topographic disturbance element arranged between knife edge and longitudinal center axis and shaping the elevation profile of the face. On the opposite face relative to the center plane an opposite elevation profile with contour line is formed. The contour line points of the contour line of the first elevation profile are positioned opposite the contour line points of the opposite contour line on perpendiculars to the center plane. The contour line of the first elevation profile and the opposite contour line are noncongruent. The contour line of the first elevation profile extends transversely to the longitudinal center axis of the base member across the disturbance element and has an ascending line section and a descending line section. A turning point positioned between these line sections is a component of the disturbance element.

A power tool has a sprocket wheel cover mounted on a housing and a guide bar secured between housing and sprocket wheel cover and having a guide groove for a saw chain. The guide bar has a guide slot extending in a longitudinal direction of the guide bar and guiding the guide bar on a guide element for longitudinal movement relative to the housing. The guide bar has a first exterior side extending in a first plane and facing the housing and a second exterior side extending in a second plane and facing the sprocket wheel cover. The guide bar has an oil supply opening extending from the second exterior side into the guide groove and connected by an oil supply channel with an oil supply device. The oil supply channel has a channel section separate from the guide bar and extending from the first to the second plane.


A circuit arrangement is for determining the cell voltage of an individual cell in a cell grouping of a series circuit of individual cells of an accumulator pack. Potential points are formed between electrically adjacent individual cells of the series circuit. The potentials of the potential points which follow one another in the series circuit increase in absolute value starting from a reference potential. Each potential point is connected to a measuring input of an evaluation device via a measuring resistor and a switch. In order to measure the cell voltage of an individual cell, the measuring input is connected to the reference potential via a capacitor. The evaluation device registers the charging time of the capacitor to a predefined voltage. On the basis of the registered charging time, the evaluation device determines the cell voltage of the measured individual cell.

The invention relates to a work device with a guide rail (4) on which a chain (5) is driven in a circulating manner. The work device has a clamping device (15) for the chain (5). The clamping device (15) has a clamping element (16) which acts on the guide rail (4) in the direction (19) of the longitudinal central axis (18) of the guide rail (4). The clamping device (15) has a rotatably mounted adjusting element (17) which is connected to the clamping element (16) via a threaded connection (20). A rotation of the adjusting element (17) about its rotational axis (21) causes a movement of the clamping element (16) in the direction (19) of the longitudinal central axis (18) of the guide rail (4). The outer circumference of the adjusting element (17) has a threaded portion (22) with at least one turn (23), said threaded portion being provided for engaging with at least one threaded portion (24) of the clamping element (16). The adjusting element (17) has an actuating contour (39) so that a user can rotate the adjusting element (17), said actuating contour comprising at least one depression. The largest spacing (b) between the threaded portion (22) of the adjusting element (17) and the rotational axis (21) is at least as large as the largest spacing (a) between the actuating contour (39) and the rotational axis (21).

A handheld work apparatus has a drive motor which drives a work tool in rotation via a belt drive. The belt drive has at least one first, driving pulley and at least one second, driven pulley. Between the first pulley and the second pulley there acts at least one drive belt for transmitting the drive torque. A second pulley is connected to the tool for conjoint rotation. The rotational speed of the second pulley is less than the rotational speed of the first pulley during operation. The work apparatus has a brake unit which acts on the first pulley. The belt drive includes at least one redirection roll. During braking, at least one redirection roll bears on the tight side of each drive belt which acts between the first pulley and the second pulley. This allows a simple structure and safe braking of the work tool.

A handheld work apparatus has a drive motor which drives a work tool rotationally via a belt drive. The belt drive has a first, driving pulley and a second, driven pulley. The second pulley is connected fixedly to the work tool so as to rotate therewith. The rotational speed of the second pulley is lower during operation than that of the first pulley. A brake unit acts on the belt drive. A first drive belt of a first stage and a second drive belt of a second stage act between the pulleys to transfer the drive torque. The belts each bring about a rotational speed reduction. The belt drive includes a redirection roll which bears against the belt, via which the highest drive torque is transmitted during operation. As a result, a braking operation of the work tool is enabled independently of the rotational speed of the tool.


A handheld work apparatus has an electric motor and a voltage source for operating the motor. A manual actuation element provided on a handle of the apparatus is operated by a user and is provided for activating the motor. The actuation element is connected to a control unit which controls the energy supply from the source to the motor as a function of an operating signal of the actuation element. If the control unit is in a blocking state, the energy supply to the motor is blocked independently of the operating signal of the actuation element. After receiving a control signal, the control unit switches from the blocking state to a standby state to release an energy supply to the motor. The control signal is derived from a combination of an actuation stroke and an actuation time (T_(B)) of the actuation element. A method for activating the apparatus is also disclosed.

The invention relates to a hand-held implement having a drive motor (14) which drives a tool (4) in rotation by means of a belt drive (70). The belt drive (70) has at least one first, driving belt pulley (27) and at least one second, driven belt pulley (28). A second belt pulley (28) is non-rotatably connected to the tool (4). The rotational speed of the second belt pulley (28) in operation is less than the rotational speed of the first belt pulley (27). The implement has a braking device (25) which acts on the belt drive (70). At least one first drive belt (31) of a first drive stage and a second drive belt (32) of a second drive stage act between the first belt pulley (27) and the second belt pulley (28) for transmission of the driving torque. The first drive belt (31) and the second drive belt (32) each effect a reduction in the rotational speed. The belt drive (70) comprises at least one deflecting roller (35, 36) which bears against at least one drive belt (32). In this way braking of the tool (4) is made possible regardless of the rotational speed of the tool.

The invention relates to a handheld tool which has a drive motor (14), which rotationally drives an implement (4) by means of a belt drive (70). The belt drive (70) has at least one first, driving pulley (27) and at least one second, driven pulley (28). At least one drive belt (31, 32) acts between the first pulley (27) and the second pulley (28) in order to transmit the drive torque. A second pulley (28) is connected to the implement (4) in a rotationally fixed manner. During operation, the rotational speed of the second pulley (28) is less than the rotational speed of the first pulley (27). The tool has a braking device (25), which acts on the first pulley (27). The belt drive (70) comprises at least one deflecting roller (35, 36). In the event of braking, at least one deflecting roller (35, 36) lies against the load run (66, 68) of each drive belt (31, 32) that acts between the first pulley (27) and the second pulley (28). A simple design and secure breaking of the implement (4) are thereby enabled.

The battery is arranged on the housing at least mainly in front of the rear handle.
