Provided herein are processes for the preparation of 7-(2-morpholin-4-yl-ethoxy)-2-(4-nitrophenyl)imidazo[2,1-b]benzothiazole and 7-(2-morpholin-4-yl-ethoxy)-2-(4-aminophenyl)imidazo[2,1-b]benzothiazole.
