Three species of leaf-beetles, Donada dentata Hoppe, 1795, D. thalassina Germar, 1811, and Luperus xanthopoda (Schrank, 1781) are newly recorded from Mongolia. Donada thalassina intermedia Jacobson, 1899, Donada vulgaris Zschach, 1788, and Luperus luperus (Sulzer, 1776) are new for the Mongolian Altai, and two of these species are also newly recorded for the administrative region Bayan-Ulegei aimak, two are new for Hovd aimak and one is new for Gobi-Altai aimak. A check-list of the subfamilies Donaciinae, Criocerinae, Eumolpinae, Galerucinae is provided. Currently, 38 species belonging to 17 genera of these subfamilies are known from the Mongolian Altai.

An annotated inventory of the 40 species and 12 genera of Chrysomelinae from the Mongolian Altai is presented. Four species of leaf beetles, Chrysolina quadrangulata Motschulsky, 1860, Chrysolina graminis (Linnaeus, 1758), Phratora polaris (Schneider, 1886), and Phratora vulgatissima (Linnaeus, 1758), and one subspecies, Chrysolina perforata simillima Mohr, 1966, are newly recorded for the Mongolian Altai. Three species, Crosita clementzae Jacobson, 1899, Phaedon armoraciae (Linnaeus, 1758), and Entomoscelis adonidis (Pallas, 1771), and one subspecies, Gastrophysa viridula lenta (Weise, 1887), are new records for Bayan-Ulegei aimak. Two species, Chrysolina perforata (Gebler, 1830) and Phaedon concinnus Stephens, 1834, are new records for Gobi-Altai aimak.

Water bodies of West Siberia mainly belong to the Ob River basin, which is not connected to other basins by shipping canals. The relative isolation of the basin predetermined the major role of industrial fisheries and aquarium trade in alien invertebrate transfer into the basin reservoirs. About 60% of the alien species were introduced into water bodies of West Siberia through industrial fisheries, and about 40% through aquarium fisheries. This paper is the first attempt to supplement a list of alien aquatic invertebrates from the Ob River basin. The data on the spread of 21 known non-indigenous species of invertebrates in this area are available. It should be noted that 7 species were deliberately introduced to enhance food reserves for fish, 8 were released by aquarists, 5 were inadvertently released during fish and forage organism introduction, and 1 (a crayfish) was imported for human consumption. For species with a known establishment period, there was a prolonged lag time in cases of both intentional and inadvertent introduction. The high invasion rate in the relatively isolated water bodies of the Ob River basin is comparable to that in Europe; hence, establishment of control over fishery-induced movement of alien invertebrates is required. © 2017 The Japanese Society of Limnology

The antropometric and body composition examination of 500 healthy young people (17-21 years old) - residents of Barnaul and the Altai Territory countryside has been performed. Differences in physical status of the Altai Territory young people depending on residence in urban or rural areas have been detected, they were manifested in a bigger body length, weight, girth of chest, hip circumference, leg length of the city dwellers. A somatotypological analysis has revealed predominance of a normosthenic somatotype among the examined persons. Young men living in the rural areas had a more andromorphous constitution, more timely tempo of sexual development. The results will constitute a basis of the formed Altai regional database.

Forty-two species of Cossidae representing 27 genera are reported for Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Three species (Para-cossus zyaung Yakovlev sp. nov., Phragmacossia laklong Yakovlev sp. nov., Butaya auko Yakovlev sp. nov.) are de-scribed as new to science. Five species (Paracossus indradit Yakovlev, 2009, P. griseatus Yakovlev, 2009, Aholcocerus ihleorum Yakovlev & Witt, 2009, Skeletophyllon puer Yakovlev, 2011, Azygophleps scalaris (Fabricius, 1775) are new country records. The study is devoted to the mathematical model of fluid filtration in poroelastic media. The laws of conservation of mass for each phase, Darcy's law for fluid phase, the rheological law and the general equation of conservation of momentum for system describe this process. The local solvability of the problem is proved in this paper for the case in which the density of the mass forces is equal to zero and the fluid is compressible.

The flow of thin liquid layer on an inclined substrate is investigated numerically. The mathematical modelling is based on the Oberbeck-Boussinesq equations and the generalized conditions on the thermocapillary boundary simplified during the parametrical analysis. In the framework of the long-wave approximation the evolution equation which determines the thickness of the liquid layer in the case of moderate Reynolds numbers is derived. The results of numerical modelling of the liquid flow with evaporation at the interface are obtained. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2016.

Taxonomy and systematics provide the names and evolutionary framework for any biological study. Without these names there is no access to a biological context of the evolutionary processes which gave rise to a given taxon: close relatives and sister species (hybridization), more distantly related taxa (ancestral states), for example. This is not only true for the single species a research project is focusing on, but also for its relatives, which might be selected for comparative approaches and future research. Nevertheless, taxonomical and systematic knowledge is rarely fully explored and considered across biological disciplines. One would expect the situation to be more developed with model organisms such as Noccaea, Arabidopsis, Schrenkiella and Eutrema (Thellungiella). However, we show the reverse. Using Arabidopsis halleri and Noccaea caerulescens, two model species among metal accumulating taxa, we summarize and reflect past taxonomy and systematics of Arabidopsis and Noccaea and provide a modern synthesis of taxonomic, systematic and evolutionary perspectives. The same is presented for several species of Eutrema s. l. and Schrenkiella recently appeared as models for studying stress tolerance in plants and widely known under the name Thellungiella. © 2013 Koch and German.

The article deals with reasons for formation, nature and specifics of the constitutionally legal policy of modern Russia. The special attention is spared to the exposure of the aim, long-term and short-term tasks, and principles of national constitutionally legal policy. The functions of constitutionally legal policy are separately considered: corrective, predictive, rationalitive, supportive, and integrative. The thesis is grounded on the presumption that constitutionally legal policy is found to be the phenomenon, as it attributes the certain features as follows, base and system forming character; special strategy; original maintenance; own priorities of realization; special principles; possibility of formation and realization not only at the federal but also at the regional levels. Special features of constitutionally legal policy are concluded to be the base type of Russian legal policy. Properties of constitutional and legal policy include: focus and balanced development; availability of own strategy; the possession of a set of characteristic features, main of which is the base position; determined character; totality; implementation by legal forms and by legal methods; the most close relationship with the state policy because of the high degree of politicization of constitutional law. © 2016 Anichkin.
