A formalized scaring (1-5) was used for assessing quality (flow melt Index) of com. polypropylene after modification with 2,5-dimethyl"2,5-di(tert-butylperoxy)'hexane. The optimum amt. of modificators added was 0.1%.


Many commentators had undertook topic of poorly understood state department as a source of problems in creation of the Polish legal system. Unfortunately the same can be expressed in relation to crisis management system. This applies not only to questions of law-making as such, but also the functioning of various safeoriented departments. Each service develop individual procedures, expanding infrastructure, communication systems etc. only in relation to their own needs. These activities, however, are not coordinated in a uniform manner, resulting in incompatibility of these systems and as a result can lead to serious difficulties in preparing and conducting rescue operations possible on a larger scale. The author of this article attempts to analyze this phenomenon, assess the possible risks and the potential implications of the status quo.

The thermal stability aq. NH4NO3 emulsions in presence of acid-resistant steel, Ti or Al alloy, were studied by means of a reaction calorimeter (heat flow) under const, and changing temp. (303-533 K) after addn. of Cl ions. The temp, conditions for self-accelerating decomp. of NH4NO3 in the emulsions were established.

Kinetic parameters of the thermal decompn. of NH4N03 emulsions were calc. from thermal effects formerly detd. by using a reaction heat flow calorimeter. The risk for heat explosion of the reacting compn. during prodn., transportation and storage of NH4N03 emulsions was estimated.
