The personnel injury inside shelter caused by the shock overpressure can not be ignored along with the development of weapon, so aluminum foams composite was created and made. The stress-strain curve of foam aluminum composite was derived through experiment. The researches on the characters of aluminum foams composite under explosion loading was done by mean of numerical simulation. The results show an attenuation of shock wave when it spread in the foan aluminum composite. It means the material possesses perfect ability for energy absorption and could be chosen as a new type of protective buffer materials simplifying the structure.
