A composition, in the form of an aqueous solution, including an insulin in hexameric form and at least one substituted citrate of formula I: in which: R_(1), R_(2), R_(3), identical or different, represent OH or AA, at least one of the R_(1), R_(2), R_(3 )is an AA radical, AA is a radical resulting from a natural or synthetic aromatic amino acid comprising at least one phenyl group or indole group, substituted or not substituted, said AA radical having at least one free carboxylic acid function, and the carboxylic acid functions are in the form of a salt of an alkali metal selected from Na^(+) and K^(+).


A composition in the form of an injectable aqueous solution, the pH of which is between 6.0 and 8.0, includes at least a basal insulin, the isoelectric point pI of which is between 5.8 and 8.5; and a dextran substituted by radicals carrying carboxylate charges and hydrophobic radicals. Single-dose formulations at a pH of between 7 and 7.8 includes a basal insulin whose isoelectric point is between 5.8 and 8.5 and a prandial insulin.


The invention relates to substituted anionic compounds consisting of a backbone made up of a discrete number u of between 1 and 8 (1u8) of identical or different saccharide units, linked via identical or different glycosidic bonds, said saccharide units being chosen from the group consisting of hexoses in cyclic form or in open reduced form, which are randomly substituted. It also relates to the process for the preparation thereof and to the pharmaceutical compositions comprising same.


The invention relates to a composition, in the form of an aqueous solution, comprising insulin in hexameric form, at least one substituted anionic compound having a non-saccharide structure and at least one polyanionic compound different from the substituted anionic compound.


A liquid composition which has, in an aqueous medium, one or more protein(s) and one or more solubilizing agent(s) chosen from anionic compounds of non-saccharide structure, the structure of which contains at least one aromatic nucleus having at least 6 ring members and at least one carboxylic acid group in salified form, and which has, in its acid form, a molar mass between 130 and 500 g/mol. A process for solubilizing one or more protein(s), wherein at least one solubilizing agent chosen from anionic compounds of non-saccharide structure, the structure of which contains at least one aromatic nucleus having at least 6 ring members and at least one carboxylic acid group in salified form, and which has, in its acid form, a molar mass between 130 and 500 g/mol, is added to an aqueous protein preparation in order to solubilize the protein is also provided.


A composition in the form of an injectable aqueous solution, the pH of which is between 6.0 and 8.0, including at least (a) a basal insulin, the isoelectric point pI of which is between 5.8 and 8.5; and (b) a co-polyamino acid bearing carboxylate charges and substituted with hydrophobic radicals. In one embodiment, the compositions also include a prandial insulin and/or a gut hormone.

In one embodiment, the compositions according to the invention also includes a prandial insulin.
