Eutarsopolipus americanus sp. nov. (Acari: Podapolipidae), subelytral, haemolymph-feeding parasite of Chlaenius praesinus Dejean 1826 (Coleoptera: Carabidae), is described from Oceana County, Michigan and Adair and St. Louis Counties, Missouri. Relationships with 17 previously described species in the myzus group of Eutarsopolipus are discussed. Species in the myzus group parasitize beetle species of the genera Chlaenius, Poecilus, Scarites and Diplocheila. Eutarsopolipus americanus is the first species in the Western Hemisphere in the myzus group with adult females with stylets exceeding 80 micrometers. © 2013 Systematic & Applied Acarology Society.

Eutarsopolipus jamaicaensis is described, illustrated and compared with nine related species of Eutarsopolipus in the biunguis group. E. jamaicaensis is an ectoparasite of Platynus punctus (Darlington) collected on a bromeliad plant in St. Andrew Parish of Jamaica, British West Indies. © 2011 Taylor & Francis.

Eutarsopolipus obrieni sp. nov. (Acari: Podapolipidae), subelytral parasite of Platynus darlingtoni van Emden (Coleoptera: Carabidae), collected in Jamaica, is described. Relationships in the groups of Eutarsopolipus with adult females without stigmata, the pterostichi, brettae, stammeri and lukoschusi groups, are presented and a key to the 12 species in this cluster of Eutarsopolipus is included. © Systematic & Applied Acarology Society.

Tetrapolipus anoplophorae sp. nov. (Acari: Podapolipidae) is described from Anoplophora lucipor Newman (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) from Luzon, Bataan, Limay Province, Philippines and compared with seven species of Tetrapolipus Berlese in the Eastern Hemisphere. This is the first species of Tetrapolipus described from Anoplophora. No parasitic mites were found on Asian longhorned beetles (ALB), Anoplophora glabripennis (Motschulsky), collected in China or on A. glabripennis collected in the USA. Examination of additional species of Anoplophora failed to yield parasitic podapolipid mites. A key to species of Tetrapolipus is provided and genera of beetle families that have podapolipid mites are compared with genera of podapolipid parasites of these families. © 2011 Systematic & Applied Acarology Society.

Eutarsopolipus jacobi sp. nov. (Acari: Podapolipidae), subelytral parasite of Diplocheila impressicollis Dejean (Coleoptera: Carabidae), is described from Washtenaw and Huron Counties, Michigan, U.S.A. Relationships with 13 previously described species in the myzus group of Eutarsopolipus are discussed and keys are provided to six species in the myzus group in the Western Hemisphere. This is the first record of a species in the myzus group parasitizing the carabid genus Diplocheila in the Western Hemisphere. © 2012 Systematic & Applied Acarology Society.
