Quality control of the product cuttle fish crackers at trading company Ardial Banyuwangi regency is very important, because it will have an impact on improving the quality of production quantities primarily to a decrease in the number of defective products and customer satisfaction in Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to reduce the number of defective products cuttle fish crackers in the trading company Ardial. The research method used is six sigma and causal analysis using fishbone diagrams. The results showed that the calculation of the six sigma method generates the value of DPMO (Defects Per Million Opportunities) at 3.20 (color, flavor, and crispness), 3.15 (density shapes, broken, torn, and chipped), and 3.18 (delicious and savory) which means that these three variables is less than 6 sigma, it needs to be improved to reduce the number of defective products in the trading company Ardial Banyuwangi. The results of the causal analysis using fishbone diagrams to mismatches that occur in cuttle fish cracker products show needs improvement on the lighting in the production room, enhancing the employability of workers, broaden the place of production and the need for maintenance on crackers cutting machine tools, maximizing the use of raw materials and cuttle fish use of sunlight in the drying process, and precision measurement scales glittering in the main raw material ie cuttle fish.

This research was designed to assess the development of English ability in agricultural students in an agricultural machinery course. The participants were second year students in the Crop Production major of the Agricultural Technology Faculty, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Thailand in the academic year 2/2014. This research ran from January to April 2015. There were forty five students studying agricultural machinery. At the first meeting of the class, they were each given a one-hour pre-test to assess their ability in English. There were 100 questions and pictures. The questions and pictures of the pre-test and the post-test were the same and both tests were administered by the same researcher. The questions were recommended by three lecturers who are experts in agricultural machinery, research and English. For every question, there was a picture with the Thai name of that picture. Students then had to write the name in English. The questions covered topics such as tillage, planting, crop protection and fertilizing, as well as harvesting and processing equipment. The questions were divided into three parts: multiple choice, check list and essay. This class met twice a week for two hours each class. At the final meeting, participants were given a post-test to assess any changes. After that, the lecturer shared the answers with the students. The statistics applied in this research were frequency, percentage and mean. There were forty five students made up of sixteen males and twenty nine females. The all student average mean of the pre-test was 20.36 and the post-test was 81.6. The all student average improvement was 61.24. The average improvement for the males was 62.06 and for the females was 60.79. There was a significant difference between pre-test and post- test at a .05 level of significance. © 2016, Int. Blambangan Foodpackers Indonesia company limited is a company engaged in manufacturing with its primary products sardines. Application of HACCP in the company has been conducted in order to maintain consumer trust and produce a quality product in accordance with the guidelines applicable quality standards. This study aims to determine how the implementations of quality control in terms of the HACCP system. The research method used is the six sigma method and causal analysis using fishbone diagrams. The results showed that the calculation of the six sigma method generates the value of DPMO (Defects Per Million Opportunities) at 3.4 and not at 6 sigma. The results of the causal analysis using fishbone diagrams to mismatches that occurred on product sardines show needs improvement in the HACCP plan that is by looking for other fish raw material suppliers who provide good quality and improvement of the seaming machine and operator.

Canned fish waste is a serious problem that must be addressed, because it can cause environmental pollutions. Alternative approach to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) with the concept of green manufacturing and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an alternative solution for these problems. The method used in this study is a survey method using data analysis Partial Least Square (PLS). Variables of the study include green manufacturing, CSR, collection of recyclables, recyclables processing, and cost EPR. The results showed a significant effect relationship towards green manufacturing at collection of recyclables, CSR significantly affects the collection of recyclables and not significant effect on recyclables processing, collection of recyclables significant effect on the recyclables processing as well as the cost EPR, and the recyclables processing significant effect on the cost EPR. © All Rights Reserved.
